
Brother John Labossiere
Brother John Labossiere passed away on November 1, 2009. He was enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program and has been a member since 2006. He served three tours of duty in Iraq and had been home for only a month. Brother Labossiere was the father of three children all under the age of 5. A memorial will be held at the Hope Church in Snohomish on Saturday, November 7th. We will have an address and time later.

Henry W. Folkes
Retired brother Henry M. Folkes passed away September 11th, 2009 at the age of 90. Brother Folkes was obligated into the Union on June 30th, 1964. He is survived by his daughter Renee Snipes.

Mary Eva Magdalena (Germann) L’Hirondelle
April 6, 1927 – April 14, 2009
Our loving mother was born April 6, 1927 in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan (SK), Canada. Mary started her early education in Qu’Appelle and obtained her high school diploma in 1945 from Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, SK. In 1946 she took secretarial courses at Regina Business College in Regina, SK. After schooling, she worked for Chrysler Corporation in Regina and then General Motors, Canadian Oil and Shell Oil in Calgary. Her marriage to Frederick L’Hirondelle in 1956 took her to Sacramento, CA where she worked in the loan and trust department of the Bank of Sacramento. The family moved to Washington State in 1968. From 1972 to 1987, Mary worked for the IBEW #191 Credit Union in Everett, WA in various roles including loan and collection officer, manager, treasurer and director. During this time she furthered her education by taking risk management courses at Everett Community College.
Mary’s interests included reading, music, theatre, dancing, cooking, knitting, crocheting, stamp collecting, scrapbooking, gardening, spoon collecting and needlepoint. She also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada. She was an animal lover and raised several Border Collies over the years.
Throughout her life, Mary was an active volunteer. She served on the booster club for the South Everett Little League, assisted the Mariner High School Music Department, she was a Math and English volunteer for the Mukilteo School District, and chaperoned members of the Seattle Imperials Drum and Bugle Corps on their travels by bus throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. For many years, Mary volunteered for the Snohomish County Battered Women’s Crisis Hotline and served as a tutor for ESL students at Everett Community College.
Mary is survived by her brother: Frank Germann of Wilcox, SK; her sister: Frankie Oberhoffner of Edmonton, AB; daughters and sons-in-law: Linda & Julian Matson, Elizabeth L’Hirondelle, Teresa & Dale Bowman; and son and daughter-in-law: Vincent L’Hirondelle & Kara Phillips; grandchildren: Sarah Bowman, Alyssa Bowman, Dean Acheson, Brynne L’Hirondelle and Maren L’Hirondelle; great grandchildren: Elise Grenzner and Adam Acheson.
A memorial service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish; [http://parish.ic-olph.org] on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. (2501 Hoyt Avenue, Everett, WA 98201). A reception is to follow in North Lynnwood (4320 152nd PL SW, Lynnwood, WA 98087).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to animal welfare organizations, Snohomish County Battered Women, or Providence Hospital Cancer and/or Kidney Dialysis Research.

Brother Wilbert "Owen" Kennedy
Wilbert "Owen" Kennedy, a 55 year member obligated into the IBEW in 1953, passed away oN February 9, 2009. He was 93 years old.
A celebration of Owen's life will be held at Westford Funeral Home (1301 Broadway, Bellingham) on Wednesday February 18th at 1:30PM, with a reception to follow.

Brother Owen Adams
Owen Adams passed away on January 20, 2009. He was obligated into Local #497 (Wenatchee) on February 7, 1967 and retired in 1999. Services: Faith Community Church in Electric City – viewing at 6:00 p.m. with services at 7:00 p.m. on Friday January 23, 2009. Graveside Services: Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wenatchee Cemetary.

Brother Camile Morisset
Camile Morisset passed away on January 13, 2009. Cam joined the IBEW on March 15, 1951 and retired from the trades on October 1, 1986. His services were held Saturday, January 17th with a small gathering of friends and family.

Brother Conrad Rose
Brother Conrad Rose, Jr. passed away on January 6, 2009.He was obligated into the Union on October 18, 1950 and took a Participating Withdrawal on December 30, 1977.
He spent most of he electrical years at Alcoa near Wenatchee.
